Before I moved into my apartment I wanted to know what furniture I could buy, how big it could be, and where it would fit in my new bedroom. A friend lived in the same building that I would be moving into and after getting the measurements of her room I put together a scale 3D model of what my new room would look like. Now all I have to do is make a quick scale model of whatever furniture I have or plan to buy and I can see exactly how or where the piece will fit.
